One of medicine’s great challenges is getting patience adherence to long treatments. In ophthalmology the challenge is even greater, because proper eye drops instillation is required along the adherence1. The video addresses how common is the inappropriate use of these medications by patients with glaucoma, a disease in which eye drops are the main clinical treatment. Several patients told us that they did not know the correct instillation technique. Therefore, proper instruction can improve the way they use their medication, and consequently, improve their outcomes.
