These editorial aims to publish educational videos in ophthalmology that provide ophthalmologists with high-quality didactic material and tools to enhance their knowledge.

The videos will be presented in a graded format, from basic to advanced, covering surgical techniques, step-by-step instructions, and tips for common vitreoretinal surgeries, as well as surgical peculiarities of the main pathologies, new techniques, and challenging cases.

Each video must be accompanied by a Word file containing the video’s title, a narrative summary in English with a maximum of 500 words, and 3 to 5 bibliographical references.

The video must describe the relevance of the presented topic, provide a detailed description of the surgical steps, and may include subtitles and recordings (in English). Pre- and post-operative photos can be included in the video. It must not contain any commercially appealing content or background music.

The recommended size for each video is 10-100MB, with a maximum size of 200MB. Accepted formats are: MOV, MPEG4, AVI, WMV. Videos must not have been published or submitted to other electronic journals in the future.
