In this edition of eOftalmo, we have focused on the issue of blue light as the causative agent of computer-induced asthenopia. Despite the difficulty that many people have with this type of lighting, we should not forget that blue light is still being studied as one of the factors that can be harmful to retinal cells. Progress is being made in the research on this topic, and we will see more concrete results in the near future.

Besides, in this edition, we have included three case reports, two of which are about ocular motility and one about ophthalmic changes in polychondritis.

I take this opportunity to inform all colleagues that eOftalmo is increasingly becoming a case report publishing body. Hence, please utilize the opportunity to report and publish your cases. We at eOftalmo appreciate your collaboration.

Regards,

Carlos Moreira Júnior
